What I wore in…Florence

ootdflorence

For sauntering around in the searing heat of Florence (or Firenze if you’re Italian) I chose the lightest dress I had packed. This little cotton number from Miss Selfridge was ideal as it was open backed, not too dark (so as not to attract the heat) and didn’t cling to the skin. I paired it with my trusty bag from Marbella market and a pair of Bensimon plimsolls that my dad bought me in Paris in 2006 (when I accidentally only packed a pair of red mary jane heels for a family holiday…I was 15 and a terrible packer clearly). My Bottega Veneta sunglasses which haven’t left my face all holiday shielded my eyes from the burning sun (seriously…nearly 40 degrees!) and just my usual mish mash of jewellery. Perhaps I should do a jewellery post soon?

Thank you for reading!
