This last week at London Fashion Week has been truly amazing for beauty junkies like myself. The looks on the catwalk were wearable and gorgeous- my personal favourite being at Alice Temperley, more of the catwalk beauty looks tomorrow though! Today I wanted to show you some beauty looks from off the catwalk that grabbed mine and my camera’s attention. Fashion blogger Emma Hill looked stunning using L’Oreal Million Lashes mascara a plane Rimmel black kohl liner and eyebrow palette, blusher and bronzer from HD Brows. Her look was flawless yet wearable, I’ve been trialling the same bronzer and blusher duo from HD Brows and have to say that they give the most gorgeous glow, and seeing as both Emma and I have very different skin tones it would seem that the products adapt wonderfully to suit nearly everyone. I’ll do a full post on the products soon!
Radio 1 extra DJ and old friend of mine Sarah Jane Crawford was not only dressed to vintage perfection in houndstooth but her makeup look was also lust worthy. Rocking her signature red MAC lip in Ruby Woo her red lip didn’t over power her print heavy outfit, instead it offset the look and made the whole appearance show stopping. I love wearing a red lip with neutral tones to liven things up a little and am planning on recreating a similar beauty look tomorrow evening to celebrate my brother’s birthday.
Fashion student Yasmeena looked absolutely mesmerising in her full on MAC beauty look, the peach and pink eye makeup shade may be daunting for some, but on her it looked effortless. I’d definitely say this look works best of blondes as it makes the eyeshadow look natural as opposed to OTT. If you’re darker in hair and skin tone like me I’d stick to more berry shades on the lid.
There you have it- a few of my favourite LFW street beauty looks- I might keep this feature up and start documenting other gorgeous makeup looks I spot on the street- I’d love it if you could leave comments letting me know if you like this idea!
Lots of love,
Tijan
