Prim and Proper

I think the unsung hero of the nail varnish world is Topshop. Topshop nail varnishes come not only in the most divine (and current) colours but are housed in unfussy bottles with a nice fat brush that covers the nail perfectly – foolproof. I’ve long been an ambassador for a good Topshop polish, and last week whilst perusing I came across this gorgeous bright/pastel pink called Prim and Propper. I love that it’s almost candy like without being vulgar, it’s almost bright yet muted at the same time and goes perfectly with all of the neutral camels, blacks, greys and navy in my current minimalist Spring wardrobe. The wear time on these is also something to write home about, with a good base and top coat this polish can see you through a good chip free five days, and a further two days with a bit of tip wear. At £5.00 a pop they’re budget friendly and I still wear the polishes that I bought three years ago meaning that the formula doesn’t go gloopy over time – go Topshop!
