I’m sure most of you are aware (I bang on about it enough) that I used to be a political campaigner and worked on two high profile elections – the 2010 general election and the 2012 London mayoral election where I worked on Boris Johnson’s campaign team. Politics is a matter incredibly close to my heart and something that gets me quite passionate. Yesterday it was election day in the UK so in honour of my political roots (and my fashion ones too!) I thought I’d share what I wore to head down to the polling station amongst other meetings and events.
I opted for a simple black H&M basic vest, paired with my Topshop Hayden boyfriend jeans and this marl grey soft blazer that I bought from Zara before the 2010 election – I thought it was fitting that I wear it yesterday! I added in some accessories, including this faux snakeskin zatchel bag which I love, my Dior So Real sunnies and my brand new Topshop Aquazurra dupes that I’mĀ obsessedĀ with!
I hope all of my UK readers voted, and here’s to the next 5 years!
