My bridal foundation secret!

 

I have an exciting bridal beauty update! After months of trying to find a makeup artist, my friend who isn’t a professional MUA but always has impeccable makeup decided to give me a trial, mainly for fun, just to identify what kind of look I really wanted. Well it turns out she was excellent and I now have asked her to do my makeup for the big day itself. When she pulled out her tube of MAC Studio Sculpt foundation I was hesitant. I’d always assumed the coverage too high and thought it would be cakey on me. Well fast forward two weeks, and I’ve since gone to the MAC store and been given samples of two shades that I’ve been mixing together (NC37 and NC42) and I’m in love. The foundation covers everything without being the faintest little damn bit detectable on the skin. It’s really rather like dark magic.

I love how it glides on to my skin and then kind of melts in, meshing together to create my dream complexion. It is without a doubt the foundation that I’ll be using on my wedding day. When my generous samples start to deplete I’ll be purchasing both shades to play around with (I’m definitely more NC37 though, but a blob of the darker is working really nicely with my sunkissed skin). So thrilled to finally be on the way to my completed bridal beauty look! I love that my friend will be doing my makeup as it means that we can really work on the look together, and use both of our favourite products. A combined effort!
