On Friday I had my makeup done at the Tom Ford counter in Selfridges, being all dolled up I naturally wanted to go out and so went for dinner with my husband to one of our favourite sushi restaurants and then on to the Arts Club to meet some friends for drinks. It wasn’t exactly a huge night out (we were in bed my 11pm), but it was just enough glam to break out this Missguided dress.
Remember when I went to the Victoria’s Secret show in early December? Well I bought five dresses from Missguided with the intention of sending back the ones I didn’t wear. Well, it turns out I loved all five and decided to keep them all as they were all different and I always love having nice little black dresses in the wardrobe for an impromptu night out. Also, I’d bought them all with a black friday discount so I didn’t feel too guilty about keeping them.
I’d been saving this cut out one for a dinner date and Friday seemed like the perfect excuse, especially when paired with my new trench (also Missguided) and my old Isabel Marant heels and Chanel handbag. I loved the mixture of black and pale nudes, as it’s officially March now (where is the year going!?!) I feel like getting my Spring vibes on.
Also…a little bit of a blog update for all of you, I’m going to be focussing more on fashion and personal style posts now and a little less on beauty, whilst I still love beauty, I feel as though I only like recommending you guys the very very best, and I’m being stricter with what I accept from brands and what I actually trial. I also have found my love for style posts increasing. So expect to see around 70% fashion to 30% beauty on this site, however normal beauty chat will stay the same over on my YouTube channel so make sure you’re subscribed for weekly videos!
