Burgers & Marant

I love days when the sun is out in full force but there’s still a fresh breeze that saves things from getting too stagnant. Wondering through Hyde Park we stopped for a quick burger from the barbecue at The Serpentine Cafe, it was delicious and I tried my first ever gherkin/pickle (not sure which one – what’s the difference even?) and I freaking loved it – it may be my new favourite food. For the occasion I decided to wear one of my favourite items from last season – this Isabel Marant Pour H&M skirt which I wore religiously throughout last Winter (I even wore it on Christmas Day!), but that didn’t stop me giving it a Summer twist with these ASOS Isabel Marant dupe booties, a Zara black tee and this ancient Matthew Williamson for H&M (I seem to be a fan of these H&M collabs huh!?!) olive green leather jacket. I topped it all off with this fun Nasty Gal cross body bag and some Topshop sunnies. A 100% high street outfit that I loved! I’ll definitely be thinking up other ways of wearing this skirt as it’s arguably my favourite skirt ever, I love the ruching and I think the print is so wearable.

I kept my makeup simple, using just the Smashbox CC cream and Makeup Forever Full Coverage concealer as my base, a teensy bit of bronzer from the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette, the L’Oreal Infallible eyeshadow in Bronze Taupe and my Bite custom lipstick (more info on that here).
