So I know I’m late on the boyfriend jeans thang but when both my mum and sister started rocking them a few weeks ago I knew it was high time I got involved. I picked up these from Topshop in Westfield after seeing Maleficent last week. Maleficent was by far one of the best films I’ve seen in ages and has now topped the list as my ‘favourite Disney ever’ even though it’s technically not a classic. I love these Hayden jeans as they’re super comfy but still feel edgy. I paired them with this cut out top from Brandy Melville which I picked up in New York and fell in love with – it’s so simple yet intricate. Yet another NY purchase are my shoes from Free People – they also stick with the ‘cut out’ theme.
To finish it all off, of course I had to go and buy the Maleficent for MAC lipstick in True Love’s Kiss which is the most stunning red, it’s so similar to the shade that Angeline Jolie wears in the film and the lasting time is fantastic without that much need for any touch ups. What do you guys think of the boyfriend jeans trend – here to stay or just a fleeting fad?
