Beauty and the Gym



So today I’ve managed to overbook myself with meetings and appointments all across town, and two workout classes involved. It seems silly to change out of my workout gear at all today, but as I’ll be spending all day in my gym kit and taking public transport etc I thought I’d share my tips for looking good without having to pile on the makeup that could lead to potential breakouts – foundation and sweat = no.

So I’ll be starting off by prepping my skin with my usual Bioderma Hydrabio Riche moisturiser and then going in with concealer, for under my eyes I’ll be popping on Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection and on my old spot scars (of which I’m plagued :() I’ll be using the smallest amount of Vichy Dermablend Foundation Stick which is non greasy or comedogenic, and I’ll only be putting it on exactly where I need it. Eyeliner seems like a waste of time, so I’ll prep my eyes with a neutral eyeshadow shade and then go in with a little mascara (waterproof works best). For my lips I’ll alternate throughout the day with my beloved NARS Satin Lip Pencil Isola Bella and some Pommade Divine lip balm. I’ll keep my tangle teezer in my bag to brush out my sweaty (ewww) locks as well as some deodorant. And then when I get home at 9pm this evening it will be shower time!
