Give me anything charcoal, camel or pitch black and I’ll wear it to death. There’s just something infinitely chic about monochromatic neutrals. Where I do like to play around though, is with texture and length. I saw a photo of a New York it girl belonging to the Chung posse on instagram, she was wearing a school girl like outfit, the next day I felt inspired to pull on a pair of tights and opt for my own version of school girl chic.
I had a lunch with good friends and family to attend and quite a few errands to run before leaving to go to Ireland for a wedding. I opted for the comfort of this Zara polo neck (still available in an array of colours) with this fluted mini skirt (also Zara). And surprise surprise I chose Zara pointed booties to complete the look. Despite the pointed toe and the spindly heel they are surprisingly comfortable, even enough to march around changing tubes. I’m currently lucky enough to be borrowing my mummy’s Givenchy Antigona – it makes everything feel so smart and polished and also fits everything in it. As it was a mild day I kept warm with my Nasty Gal biker jacket – my ultimate wardrobe staple! I also finished the look off with a touch of camel with my brand new Abbott Lyon tan suede watch which I’m a little bit in love with!
