Last night we ventured East for the launch of Trekstock’s collection in collaboration with Whistles. I’ve been a supporter of Trekstock for a few years and they’re a great cause, the collection for Whistles comprises of some amazing pieces including a lust-worthy Hillier London ring which is on my wish list. What’s even better is that 100% of the profits go towards the charity who work closely with Cancer Research UK and aims to bring fun events for young people in order to raise money and awareness to ultimately beat cancer.
We had dinner at the Hoxton Grill first, where I was in food heaven with some cajun chicken a carrot and fennel salad and some sweet potato wedges before venturing over to the party where they had a photobooth and Smashbox makeup artists offering makeovers. I picked up what I thought was an innocent looking slush puppy only to be greeted with a very alcoholic margharita instead- slush puppy margharitas, pretty innovative! After swapping it for a bottle of Fiji water we enjoyed music by Valentina and had a wonderful evening celebrating an amazing cause.
As it was a balmy evening I wore a River Island dress clinched in with a Zadig and Voltaire belt, a Topshop denim jacket, my Chanel handbag and a new pair of H&M shoe boots from the ‘New Icons’ collection. So comfy.
