Welcome to a new feature on the blog! I know lots of you love the stylised “shoot” fashion posts, but also a lot of you really don’t, you like seeing outfits that I actually wear and how I style items for different events. This feature is to show you what I actually wore to different events to serve as outfit inspiration to you. The first “event” in question was  my birthday brunch on Sunday with a few of my closest girlfriends.
For the occasion I had planned on wearing my Zara dungarees for a while and paired the 1970s flaired style with this sexy yet chic blouse from Miss Selfridge. The morning of the brunch Alexa Chung graced the cover of ST Style magazine wearing a denim skirt and a bright orange hued red lip. As I was already planning on wearing denim, I played around with some red lip shades until I found my perfect (and very Alexa) combo. I paired Kiko red lip liner with MAC Lady Danger and some Kat Von D lip cream stain on the top to keep the lip matte and intact throughout brunch. I finishes my outfit with my Miu Miu boots (to give serious height) and a Zara coat.
