Contouring For Dummies

After having recently complained here about not having the right contour shade, I was thrilled when this incredibly budget friendly palette landed on my doorstep. Barry M are releasing this beauty next month for the very affordable £6.99. In it you get three shades, a yellow-y highlight powder, a warm bronzer and a grey/ash toned contour shade. Now the first two shades don’t do anything life changing for me, however the last shade is where it’s at. This is an exact dupe of the Kevyn Aucoin grey toned contour shade, and when I put this on with Daniel Sandler’s Watercolour Brush on the hollows of cheeks my cheekbones instantly become 20 X more exaggerated, I’m talking Jolie levels of cheekbone. I’ve used this three times now and each time in photographs I’ve been so impressed by how well the product looks on the skin. You’ll see it in action in tonight’s vlog and in the weekend’s Birthday Makeup tutorial so stay tuned for that!

This is such a great find! The shades really do look like the ‘best of’ the Anastasia palette.
