Warm in Neutrals

I secretly love this weather. When it’s rainy and blustery outside all I want to do is snuggle up in cosy layers and drink hot drinks and continuously eat (today so far I’ve had an Elle Macpherson Super Elixir drink with a bowl of blueberries, followed by two poached eggs and chia/buckweat wrap, an almond milk latte – off that bandwagon and an apple with half a jar of almond butter and it isn’t even lunch time).

When you work for yourself this weather is the perfect excuse to stay at home and catch up on emails and editing, however when I do have to venture out I have not one but two new wardrobe additions which are making the thought of leaving the house just that bit more bearable.

The first is this beautiful new Cocoa Cashmere jumper which I received last week, the pale grey works beautifully with my mostly neutrals wardrobe and I’ve become obsessed with how soft and cosy it is without being suffocatingly warm once indoors. Cashmere really is the ultimate Winter indulgence and just makes you feel better. Another new addition is this teddy bear coat from &Other Stories. It’s light weight so easy to throw on but keeps things toasty – I love the longer length too which ensures that I’m totally protected from the elements. The two combined provide ultimate warmth without suffocation (no hot sweats on the tube).
