It’s Valentine’s day, and whether you’re single or loved up I still think it’s a fun holiday to enjoy for all. In my family we’ve always given each other Valentine’s cards, and so I’ve grown up thinking of Valentine’s day as a day to cherish not just a boyfriend, but to cherish your family and best friends. This is my first V day engaged, and my fourth one with my boyfriend/ now fiance, so we aren’t going as full on as we did in the early days but we’re still acknowledging it by going out for dinner. Here’s what’s on my beauty menu for this evening:
I’ll start with a simple base of By Terry Terrybly Densillis foundation, as it is just gorgeous and gives a matte yet luminous finish, it also lasts all day long, so is perfect for those of you going straight out from work. Then I’ll be going in with Collection 2000 illuminating concealer and Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow to add a bit of dewy glow in the right places. I’ll be using my Tom Ford Brow Sculptor to keep things looking groomed, and then I’ll go in with a subtle smokey eye using my Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita palette to complete the look. My Charlotte Tilbury Rock’n’Kohl eyeliner in Barbarella Brown will complete the smokey yet demure eye makeup and then I’ll be getting into the spirit of V day with a pop of a red lip like this one from Wild about Beauty.
A super simple, wearable and long lasting makeup look for whether you’re going out with friends or for a romantic dinner this evening!
Happy Valentine’s Day al!
