TRAVEL: Eden Roc

As part of my September resolutions (a full review of those are coming your way this Sunday btw) I’m going to be posting more about my travel and experiences. I absolutely adore the South of France and have been going for as long as I can remember, seeing as it’s incredibly close to London and there’s so much to do there it makes the perfect Summer holiday. This year we went with my entire family (there’s 7 of us in the immediate group – that’s excluding my grandma and dog Enzo) and one of the most memorable parts was visiting the Eden Roc for lunch. We don’t come here often as the prices are astronomical and securing a booking can be hit and miss, but when we do come (either for lunch or just a cocktail in the evening) I’m always blown away by the sheer chicness of it, the place radiates with glamour from it’s history and the decor is an art deco fan’s dream – Slim Aaron’s photography lines the walls (enough to put any instagrammer to photography shame or give a heightened inspiration – you choose which) and the clear blue water of the infinity swimming pool gives the optical illusion from the restaurant that it goes straight into the sea.

For the occasion I wore this Topshop white crochet dress that I bought this time last year, it hangs perfectly and feels both glamorous yet bohemian, I paired it with my Dior So Real sunglasses, havaiana flip flops and an old Isabel Marant Pour H&M shopping bag as my beach bag, I liked feeling a little paired down in this extraordinary setting.

Let me know if you enjoy the travel posts and would like to see them more regularly?
