Tourist Necessities

citybreakmusthaves

Today is our final day in Moscow Russia and whilst we have family here, the trip has also had its fare share of tourist activities including multiple Kremlin visits, museums and the incredibly memorable Lenin’s mausoleum (an absolute must see if you’re ever in town and ghoulishly inclined – so freaky, but so incredible). I’ve been keeping my look very simple and here’s what’s made the cut this trip…

Jouer Tint & Highlight Duo: Cream products are so easy for travelling, no need for faffing around with brushes. The shade Petal is a gorgeous cool toned rosey pink that complements a neutral makeup look perfectly and the highlight adds some glamour for evenings out to dinner.

Chanel CC Cream: There have been a few heat wave days here where temperatures soared to over 30 degrees so a high level of SPF was needed. I’ve been loving the Chanel CC cream for both the coverage and SPF factor. The glow it gives is also perfect without being greasy.

Day to Night palette: For taking my look from sauntering through Red Square straight to dining at Pushkin (my new favourite) I’ve kept my Tom Ford Cocoa Mirage palette close. The lighter shades are ideal for the days and the sultry tones work perfectly for Russian evenings. On days where I want something a little different I packed my Tom Ford singular shadow from the SS15 collection in Golden Peach – such a unique shade.

Tom Ford Noir: So good that I had to write a full blog post about it here!

Oribe Dry Texturising Spray: Something about the water here, or maybe the humidity levels just is not agreeing with my locks. I’ve been reaching for my dry texturising spray daily to both tame and add some needed oomph to my hair.

Vlogging camera & Celine sunnies for obvious reasons 😉
