The September Makeup Edit

Optimized-septemberedit

Since moving to our new place I’ve started doing my makeup at the dining table as it’s surrounded by massive windows and the lighting is beyond excellent. This has meant decanting my makeup into smaller makeup bags/shoe boxes and hiding it under one of the chairs. In the four months that we’ve lived here the dining table makeup collection started to look like a normal person’s full makeup collection, so yesterday I took it all back to my dressing table and started from scratch. To keep myself in check as well as let you guys know what products I’m particularly loving I thought I’d do monthly updates on what is making the cut for my daily makeup bag.

Currently it looks a little like this:

Foundation – Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua (the best for this time of year for a flawless velvet finish)

Concealer – La Mer Radiant Concealer for under eyes (nothing else on the planet compares – worth the hefty price tag if you suffer from dark circles) and Estee Lauder Double Wear for pigmentation/blemishes – only just started using it but so far so good, expect a full review coming soon!

Brows – Tom Ford Brow Sculptor – the bomb.com.

Eyes – MAC Paint Pot in Camel Coat and Tom Ford Cognac Sable. Mascara – L’oreal false lash superstar (amazing!!!), Tom Ford Eye defining pen (falling back in love with the feline flick).

Cheeks – CHANEL Sienna Tweed blush (the ultimate Autumnal shade) and The Balm Mary Lou Manizer highlighter for that strobing effect.

Lips – Clarins Crayon Levres are my current favourite – creamy and waxy with fantastic pigmentation, currently loving the brown 90s vibe with 04 nude mocha (that name tho…).

So there’s my update – what products are you currently reaching for daily?
