It’s a look you’ve seen one thousand times before- a bronzed smokey eye with a nude lip. But this one is slightly different, Rimmel are one of my favourite drugstore make up brands for creating good quality products at budget prices. I’ve yapped on about their Scandaleyes Shadow Sticks for months now, but for good reason. They are exquisitely pigmented and last for hours on even the oiliest of eyelids. The shade Bad Girl Bronze is perfect paired with a simple nude lip such as this Rimmel Notting Hill Nude a flick of liquid liner (again Rimmel!) and lashings of mascara and you’ve got a look to take you from day to night without breaking the bank or getting a degree in make up artistry. Smudge the shadow liner straight onto the lid and blend out using your fingers, apply a lip balm to soften our lips and then dab the nude on to create an effortlessly sexy look. After a Summer of bright lips I’m loving this paired down approach, and I find the nude counterbalances the smokey bronze perfectly.
