The AW13 Lipstick- Bourjois Rouge Edition

As the weather has progressed and the Autumn chill is settling I felt it was time to move away from the sugary pinks and mannequin nude lip colours and embrace a slightly darker more seasonal hue. I’ve been craving something a little more berry toned to paint onto my pout and yesterday I found just the ticket. Bourjois Rouge Edition 17 is a raspberry dark pink that looks fantastic with a flawless base, bronzed cheeks and a simple eye for an every day look. The quality is phenomenal, lasting a good few hours on the lips and gliding on incredibly smooth- pigmented yet sheer, the formula is reminiscent of Chanel Rouge Coco (not surprising as both brands are manufactured in the same place!). It brings life to my olive complexion, something that lighter hued lipsticks often can’t quite muster. I love the packaging, quality, colour and pigment so much that I’m off on the hunt today for a few more shades for my AW13 lipstick wardrobe- that can be a thing right?

What you need to know:

– The lipsticks apply creamy and have a mid coverage pigment.

– The lipsticks are not glossy and do not attract hair!

– Bourjois Rouge Edition 17 works well with olive skin and dark hair.

– Bourjois Rouge Edition lipsticks are incredibly hydrating and don’t leave lips feeling tight or sore like other budget lip products
