The Cheap Thrill- MUA undress mee too

 

I love a cheap thrill, set me loose in Boots or Superdrug and I’m in my elemant. I’ll have swatches up half my arm and a manic crazed look in my eye- as my friend Jess witnessed the other day, once I’m in it’s really really hard to pull me away. My boyfriend and mother deal with it by just walking out (a little like the trick parents use on stubborn toddlers that wont leave playgrounds) at which point I’ll have to tear myself away from the Bourjois blushes and Revlon lip butters in order to catch them up- they’ve both perfected the art of not looking back to see if I’m going to follow them, damn them.

Where was I? Yes- the cheap thrill. Well the other day I was in Superdrug perusing the lines which Boots don’t stock when I came across the MUA undress mee too (hello Urban Decay Naked dupe!). For £4 for the palette which consists of no less than twelve separate shadows I was instantly sold, every single colour in the palette appeals  to my neutral loving nature and I couldn’t wait to bring it home and try out a subtle smokey eye.

 

The results exceeded  my expectations, the shadows are beautifully pigmented and blend together to create a really lovely and foolproof smokey look. You can use the paler colours for a daytime look and then ramp it up for an evening taupe and soot affair. This is officially my new favourite toy and the palette I’ll be reaching for to take on holiday as it literally has all my favourites (smokey black, mushroom grey, sandy gold- check, check and check). I still can’t believe that I got change from a £5 note. A little bit loved up with this purchase..
