That Kylie Jenner Lip…

Kylie Jenner – she used to be the one Kardashian/Jenner sibling that nobody really thought of, until recently. She started sporting an amazingly simple but effective eye and a pout verging on pornographic that has had the world and his wife dying to know exactly what shade exactly it is that she’s been sporting. Reports that it was MAC Whirl were last week dismissed as big sister Kimmy told Pixiwoo that it was in fact MAC Soar as well “as another one I can’t remember” THINK, KIM THINK, we all thought.

Dutifully I went to go and by Soar that very same day, tried it on and have worn it every day since. I outline my lips slightly bigger then fill them in. I will give you my reasons as to why I love below, but firstly I feel I have to say this – if you’re expecting KJ levels of poutiness from this lip pencil, forget about it, you’ll only get that level of plumpness from a visit to a doctor. That’s just a fact.

However, why Soar rocks:

1) It’s a plummy, pinky nude shade that is uber flattering, especially at this time of the year.

2) It does help lips look slightly fuller.

3) It is a gorgeous matte consistency that stays put for hours, through coffee, breakfasts and Sunday roasts (I’ve road tested it well).

4) If you don’t want to wear it alone a la Kylie, then it is a versatile enough colour to wear with a variety of shades of lipsticks.

Over all, it’s a damn nice lip pencil, but don’t expect to look exactly like Kylie with a £12.00 lip liner!
