Let me introduce my 17 year old sister Lily! If you’ve watched my vlogs before you will already be acquainted with her. Today I thought I’d get her to talk through her daily beauty routine – she’s nowhere near as beauty obsessed as me, but she uses some pretty cool products! In her own words…
“So when I wake up I make sure all my makeup is off from the day before (like any leftover mascara etc) and wash my face with Avene Cleanance Gel followed by La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo and that’s it. Once I’ve finished getting dressed I use the Stila SPF 15 tinted moisturiser or if I’m feeling fancy nancy the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation (which Amelia picked up for me from NY). I always use the Benefit World Famous Neutrals palette even though Tijan teases me for it being too shimmery (ed note: I don’t). The shadow I use all the time is gilt-y pleasure as it just adds a subtle touch of shine to my lids. As a liner Supercat by Soap and Glory is by far my favourite, I can’t imagine myself ever buying a different one, it’s really easy to use and I always have a flawless line. For mascara, L’Oreal Volume Million excess is my go to. For my lips, I always use Sephora’s Unique Pink if I’m not in the mood for lipstick, it is like a balm that brings out your lips most flattering pink – it changes for each person. It’s really soft and smells of vanilla! And if I am in the mood for lipstick, my favourite shade is my custom one that I made in New York Bite Beauty Lab with Tijan – it’s a rosey pink that’s just so flattering and also smells of roses! The Luminous Creme Bite finish is just amazing. For hair I just wash it with whatever although I personally prefer Bumble products, and then I plait it whilst it is wet so I have waves the next day for school. That’s pretty much me on a day to day basis!”
