Supercharged Skin with Oskia

I’ve just had one of the most hectic weekends, it included my hen party, London Fashion Week and all other number of wedding meetings and errands to run. On Sunday evening I needed a little down time to recuperate, and one of my favourite things to do to relax, is pop on a face mask and read Sunday Times Style Magazine. This time I opted for a mask that I’ve had for a while but hadn’t gotten around to using – the Oskia Reniassance Mask.

An exfoliating and brightening mask, it is designed to increase cell turn over, leave a more radiant complexion and minimise imperfections and blemishes. All in all it sounded ideal. I popped the buttery soft peachy pink gel all over my face and read my magazine for around 15 minutes. Afterwards I simply removed with a warm muslin flannel and I could instantly see my skin had a glow from within and a brightness to it that it didn’t have before. Luckily, it didn’t break me out, and left my skin feeling supple and lovely for a good few days afterwards.

It’s been likened a lot to the REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask, however, I’d say it’s more like it’s gentler sister than it’s carbon copy. The Renaissance Mask is gentler on the skin, and you don’t get any tingling sensation, however, that does mean that the results aren’t quite as drastic or dramatic. I’d recommend the Renaissance Mask for weekly Sunday use, and the Glycolactic Radiance Renewal for a once a month blitz before a big event!
