Another week has been and gone, and with it I thought I’d introduce a new feature to the blog – it might be weekly, or it might only be monthly. A little feature where I discuss some of the products or beauty tips that I’ve picked up recently and what I think is worth the hype and what really just isn’t!
New in.. This week is the week that I discovered Charlotte Tilbury Rock’n’Kohl liquid eye pencil – I don’t really know what I was doing prior to discovering it. Ramp it up for a full on smokey eye, or leave it minimal (like Emily D in today’s photo). It’s a dream.
Time to say goodbye.. I went off the topical prescription gel I was recommended by a ‘celebrity’ dermatologist. Isotrexin is a form of vitamin A and it was just way too harsh for my sensitive skin. The second I stopped using it my skin improved massively.
Added to the wishlist… I’m on the hunt for a few new cleansers, I’m thinking Avene Cleanance for morning and potentially Oskia renaissance cleanser for the evenings.
Rediscovered.. I don’t know why I ever stopped using Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream, but wow am I glad that I’ve started using it again. I tend to only use this on my cheeks and chin, as I find it a little too heavy for my already oily t-zone, but it really perks up the complexion and gives a “lit from within” look that I just adore!
