Sulphates are your hairs frenemy- you stay friends with them because they literally hang around every nice smelling and good shampoo and conditioner but really they are wreaking absolute havoc with your locks. Try as I might even the most high end of hair care products still contained traces of sulphates, so that’s when I discovered L’Oreal’s new line of sulphate free shampoo and conditioners EverSleek targeting colour damaged, over worked and over heated and frizzy hair. The products smell divine with a unique blend of botanical flowers depending for each bottle in the range depending on your hair woes. I use the purple bottle for colour damaged hair shampoo and the honey coloured bottle for frizzy and overworked hair. My locks feel sleeker, smoother and not at all stripped and what’s even stranger and more amazing is that I found my hair stayed grease free for longer- which is really odd as sulphur cleanses the scalp better. Perhaps the excessive use of shampoos with sulphur causes the scalp to produce more oil and thus get oilier quicker? Don’t quote me on that but I’ve definitely noticed a change and I’m not going back anytime soon! For just £6.99 per product this is one bargain beauty buy we should all get behind.
Hi, thanks for a great review! I’ve been wanting to try it for a few weeks now but I don’t know which one to get. 😛 Or if maybe I will try the marc anthony argan oil shampoo instead, which is also sulphate free. 🙂
