I feel like a bit of a broken record- every day the same old moan about the weather. But it is actually a most annoying state of affairs, we are missing out on wearing our Spring clothes, my Chanel ballet pumps sit unworn since last September , all the new light jackets I’ve purchased from Zara and River Island are hung in my closet with their price tags still in tact, printed blouses, cat-eyed sunglasses…the list goes on. So instead of moan and wait around (it will warm up, it will!) I decided to make the most of my Spring time make up wardrobe. Out go the dark grey shadows and the berry coloured lips, and in comes something a little warmer, fresher and well…Springlike!
A few sweeps of Chantecaille tinted moisturiser, followed by my HG concealer- La Mer. A quick swirl of Chanel Les Beiges healthy glow powder in N30 and my complexion was already looking more Spring like- bronzed and glowing. A little bit of Chanel’s Sienna Tweed blush on the apples of my cheeks, a few smudges of Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Stick in Bulletproof Beige, a flick of liquid liner, some mascara and then a few coats of the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Rendezvous which is like Summer in a lip crayon. Seriously. It lifts your whole complexion and gives a nice subtle tangerine hued pop. It goes perfectly with my Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Satsuma….and voila! A little bit of Spring/Summer on a freezing/windy/grey day.
