Because it’s a Saturday and I’ve had two cups of matcha green tea and a coffee on the way and have bags of energy, I thought why not do a second post? The rest of the weeks posts are already in place so consider this a bonus.
A few years ago I purchased this Paul & Joe makeup bag from Fenwicks on Bond St, just before I hopped on a train to Nottingham to visit my friend at university, I thought it would make the perfect travel companion and I’ve got a bit of a thing for stationary as well as beauty which makes this pretty much the dream!
Designed like a filofax the make up bag is comprised of two mini sections which you can take out like a ring binder and then has two other sections for brushes or whatever else you fancy. I love mine for weekends away or just for storing the makeup I’m using most at that moment in time (whilst the rest is in a little whicker basket- note to self, must go to Muji). I keep all of my eyeshadows/mascaras/liner in one section, all of my lip products in another and then store my Chantecaille tinted moisturiser and Hourglass Sculpted Arch brow pencil in the brush section and any cotton wool discs or hair grips in the front flap. It’s so handy and pretty, and I love that even after three and a half years it’s still going strong.
This will definitely be accompanying me on my trip to Mykonos Greece on Tuesday!
