November Favourites

November has been a weird month for me and beauty. I’ve stripped my skincare right back and started seeking a few dermatologists help which means that I’ve actually started on some prescription bits and bobs- so I haven’t been able to test out the usual amount of products. My trip to Istanbul was amazing and I’ve attended lots of exciting events, all in all it has been a good month! Here are my favourites…

Essie Solemate: A deep berry that looks almost black in some lights and purple/burgundy in others. Goes with everything, perfect for Winter and lasts ages on nails whilst retaining stratospheric levels of glossiness sans chips. It’s a winner.

Essie Beyond Cozy: I can’t think of a better nail polish to see me through the next few party months! Festive yet chic it works just as well on all ten fingers or on just one ring finger. Incredibly durable, chip resistant and amazingly opaque (just two coats will give you 100% coverage- unlike other glittery polishes). And the name is beyond cute!

Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick: Want a winter lip colour that will not only make your lips look fuller but also see you through coffee/lunch and a few snacks without reapplication? Look no further, this has not left my handbag since I purchased it three weeks ago. It’s hands down the best lip stain I’ve ever tried and doesn’t leave lips feeling parched. J’adore.

La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra: Lightweight? check. Soothing? check. Hydrating? check. If you have sensitive, blemish prone or dehydrated skin, this is for you. Think of it like a detox from all the overly perfumed heavy moisturisers you usually use. It sinks into the skin, is fragrance free yet leaves your face feeling nourished. It also soothes any redness or irritation and (for me at least) helps minimize blemishes. When I feel like an extra boost I add a few drops of Balance Me Radiance Oil in with it and it becomes more of an intense night cream.

Origins Drink Up Intensive: My Sunday evening skincare saviour! After a long week, and one too many nights out this saves my skin. The fruity smell gets me every time and makes me want to apply even more. I apply this at around 5pm on a Sunday afternoon and leave it to sink in all evening and night, I awake with super soft, nourished skin with a more even skin tone and little under the skin bumps diminished. A must for everyone in these colder months.

I hope you enjoyed my November favourites…
