Last week I brought my mother along with me to an event held at the Mayfair Hotel to launch Murad skincare’s latest product using their patent-pending cutting edge formula. The evening was inspiring and informative down to the fact that we were treated to talks by both Dr Murad himself and his son Jeff. Dr Murad gave us an overview as to how to keep skin happy, healthy and stress free. Top tips from him include eating a balanced diet and eating your water as opposed to merely drinking it. The hydration levels in a watermelon or cucumber and significantly superior to mere water and keeps your skin hydrated and subsequently plumper. After Dr Murad had finished, his son Jeff took over and got down to business by talking us through their latest break through technology Replenicell which essentially turns water into an active ingredient and the new and first Murad product to use this breakthrough science the Pore & Line Minimizing Hydrator*, making the moisturiser light weight yet deeply hydrating as opposed to a heavy and greasy product which doesn’t penetrate and nourish deep enough.
I’ve been using the product for 10 days now and I’m totally in love. I love using it in the mornings before my SPF and makeup and in the evenings either on it’s own or mixed with an oil for a more luxurious experience, seeing as you get my point of view on products every single darn day I thought I would make today’s post a little more interesting and hand you over to my mother, aged 46 who struggles with dry skin (not fair that she’s never had a spot in her life or any excess oiliness!!)….
“This was an incredibly informative evening in terms of understanding the water content of most moisturisers and the ability to penetrate and hydrate. I have always found it difficult to maintain a hydrated, moisturised skin and this product looks set to change things! I have used it faithfully for a week both morning and evening under whatever serum I choose to use to tackle other issues. So far, so good. I haven’t needed to top up in the day or feel uncomfortable .
