March Favourites

Today I thought I’d do my first ever favourites post on the products I’ve been loving this month. March has been rich with amazing beauty offerings so here goes:

1. Barry M Gelly hi-shine nail polishes. I can’t get enough of these at the moment. I’ve been rotating all five of my colours weekly to ensure a long-lasting, glossy and chip-free manicure in gorgeous shades. My favourite is currently Lychee, a nude-y/grey which looks so expensive and polished.

2. Chanel Les Beiges Health Glow Powder. I’ve had so many skin compliments as of late, I will say that my diet and skincare regime are definitely lending a helping hand but this latest offering from Chanel has definitely sealed in a bundle of glow factor. This light-weight powder glides on smoothly to leave a matte yet airbrushed finish which is perfect for over my Chantecaille Just Skin Tinted Moisturiser. Definitely a favourite, and the compact is so gorgeous it hasn’t left my handbag!

3. Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette. Ever since Anna of Vivianna Does Makeup (one of my fave beauty blogs)  talked about the wonders of this brow brush here I knew I had to have it. A quick trip down to Space NK to try it and I was sold, it makes my eyebrows literally perfect. Not a stray in sight and you can build up the intensity of colour ranging from a subtle accentuation right through to Delevigne levels of brow boldness- a winner.

4. Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Sticks. I’ve talked enough about these here. They haven’t left my lids in over a week- the beige and bronze make a gorgeous nude/warm base and you can build up intensity easily. Foolproof product for those who aren’t a pro when it comes to perfecting the contoured/smoky eye.

5. My tangle teazer. I bought my first teazer around 4 years ago and now have more than I can count in various handbags/bathrooms/homes. In fact when I first started duplicating products to leave at my boyfriends over two years ago, the teazer was the first ‘can’t live without you’ product I installed in our bathroom. Pink, Blue, Gold, Glittery Purple- you name it I have it. I can’t stand being parted from it, it’s the only brush that gets rid of those pesky March wind hairknots in nanoseconds and leaves my hair silky smooth. A no brainer really and about time it got a mention on TSL.

6. A newbie, but it has to be mentioned. The Elemental Herbology Facial Glow Mask has become my favourite mask ever. One which I definitely intend on buying the full size of and plan to use weekly. Glowing, baby smooth skin in just 6-10 minutes. Score. Read its full review from yesterday here.

Have a lovely last day of the Easter weekend- I sure will, just had some chocolate and green tea for breakfast and now off to the Pompeii exhibition at the British Museum followed by season 3 premiere of Game of Thrones tonight- woohoo, Khaleesi how I’ve missed thee!
