So today I’m off to South bank for a busy day at the Vogue Festival, starting at 11am with a talk by Victoria Beckham and ending at 7pm with a talk from Donnatella Versace with all sorts of exciting people and things to do in between.
The one thing I want is to take a small makeup bag-this old Anya Hindmarch one I got free with a copy of Harpers Bazaar eight years ago!! is perfect as it’s just the right shape to fit into my Chanel handbag.
In it will go the products I can shmush (shmush is a word right) on throughout the day with no drama. In goes Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow- I can’t remember the last time I didn’t have this on my face it’s amazing, nuff said. Then my trusty La Mer concealer as it never ever ever goes cakey so I can layer it. I love it so much, pricey, yes but it’s lasted me over a year and there’s still looooads left. For my cheeks I’ll keep Bobbi Brown cream blush in Calypso around just for a dap on the apples to give my complexion a boost.
For my eyes, if I feel like I need a little extra (doubtful as the Urban Decay primer is soooo good) I’ll bring along my favourite eyeshadow of the moment- Maybelline 24 hour Colour Tattoo in On and On the Bronze (beauty blogger fave) and some scandaleyes shadow sticks in Bad Girl Bronze and Bulletproof Beige in case I want a little more eye d-raa-ma.
Lastly lips, I’ll be bringing along my favourite everyday lip colour ‘Sensual Pink’ by Mavala and ‘Juicy Papaya’ Revlon Colour Shine Lip Butter to add a touch of sheen.
In my bag will also be my trusty Phyto 7 hair cream full review here , can’t go anywhere without it and it gets rid of static immediately as well as leaving hair nice and glossy. Perfect for refreshing my hair later in the day.
Phyto 7 hair cream- nail colour CHANEL Fracas.
Done! Phew…now for the outfit, you’ll have to wait and see tomorrow!
Have a lovely Sunday.
