It’s sunny and it’s the weekend, and I am so excited to show you my two latest impulse Boots purchases! The first is Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Polish Almond which is like a souped up Lychee – their very similar colour that they brought out last year. Almond is a touch more ‘now’ though with a hint of elephant grey running through a thick cream. It’s stunning and ultra flattering on a variety of skin tones. I love the Barry M formula, and think that they rival even the most chip resistant and expensive of them all (read – Estee Lauder, Tom Ford etc.). My nails feel really glossy when I have this on and I feel incredible ‘polished’.
The next buy was one I actually discovered back in November, when Charles Worthington gave me a stunning blow dry for a black tie event. They used the CW Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray as the finishing touch, and I was amazed at how much texture and volume it created. My hair even had volume the next day – which is no easy task for long silky and notoriously slippery locks! So whilst walking through Boots the other day I picked up both of these (and something else, but they’re getting a post of their own!) and I couldn’t be happier. Two budget friendly products that are seriously luxe quality!
