Ever wanted a reasonably priced, unscented, simple, gets the job done, SPF free foundation? Well I think I have just the ticket for you then. Introducing EX1 foundation, the £12.50 foundation that has overtaken Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk as my evening foundation of choice.I have to thank Amelia for not only introducing me to the product, but also giving me the one she bought for herself as it was too dark.
The premise of EX1 is to cater for those with olive or darker skin tones at a good price point and that is non comedogenic which means it wont break you out or break the bank.
I first tried this around 10 days ago and was really surprised by how well it blended into my skin, not at all feeling heavy or looking obviously like foundation. I wore it over my birthday weekend and was impressed with how my skin felt like it could breathe, but still had beautiful coverage.
The cons? The packaging feels like it’s worth £12.50, this is not a luxe product, but it gets the job done and still looks pretty enough on a dressing table. I’d recommend this for any brides to be or anyone with a special upcoming event, if you’re feeling particularly spendy then you can always purchase two shades to mix them together to find your absolute perfect match.
