I know I know, today is technically day 4 of LFW but I took day 3 off to go and visit two gorgeous babies! I relished slipping into my uggs and jeans with a cosy jumper and snuggling up all day with little cuties, but today the heels are back on and I’m raring to go! My day 2 started with me deciding that I absolutely did not want to wash my hair- the weather was once again a lovely combination of drizzle and chilliness so I opted for a side plait and a handy Topshop hat. Nice. As for the rest of my get up I chose an H&M cotton black t-shirt and printed skirt, very Marant daahling. For warmth I chose an IRO jacket, which racked up its fair share of compliments throughout the day, and on my feet I popped on a pair of Topshop chelsea boots. I left legs bare and wore a Nasty Gal tote and umbrella as my accessories of choice.

After a latte and croissant I ventured over to Somerset House for around 11:30am where I had a little update on the daily going ons in the Samsung Media Lounge. After which I started queueing for John Rocha SS14 which was being held at the BFC courtyard, after what felt like an age we were herded in and I managed to bag myself a seat despite my ‘standing’ ticket. The show was spectacular, lots of sharp structural lines offset by black organza and lace with fabulous hats and crimped hair to top it all off. Needless to say come next Spring we’ll all be donning a wide brimmed hat with some crimped tresses and a bright pout to match. The rest of my day consisted of hanging out with the gorgeous Emma and eating lots of cookies at the Handpicked Media Blogger Suite at supercool hotel 1 Aldwych. I had a ticket to see the Ashley Isham show later in the afternoon but one glance at the frantic queue and I bypassed and came home early to snuggle up in my tracksuit. I’ve loved my day off but I’m ready for the madness of fashion week to resume, bring on the frantic streetstyle photographers, loud fashion journos, hangers ons and decoratively dressed fashion bunnies. Day 4- I’m coming for ya.
