Cures for Sleepy Eyes


Not sleeping for the entirety of Sunday night means that I’m still catching up on sleep and luckily I’ve arranged this week so that I don’t have any early meetings or starts. However, waking up at times between 9:30 – 11:00 am makes me feel all cloudy headed and really sleepy for the first part of the day. Hence the need to revitalise and get things going, getting rid of sleepy eyes is the first way of banishing any sleepy feelings. I’ve been using Environ X- Quench Eye Gel for the last week or so, and I’m happy to report that it’s the first eye cream/gel/serum that hasn’t given me milia – just lovely hydrated under eyes that instantly feel more awake.


The Liz Earle Eye Bright is a soothing lotion for eyes, simply soak a few cotton discs and press onto the eye area for a souped up version of a couple of cold table spoons. It replenishes the area and really does brighten. I love the ritual of it as well, as it makes me feel all Cleopatra – esque. Taking care of tired eyes, however, is just the first step. The next is a huge almond milk latte! Time to start the day and pray for an earlier wake up time tomorrow!
