Dressing in all black is pretty much par for the course in the colder months. As I’ve stressed on here before, instead of mixing things up with colours, instead I like to play around with tones and textures. This look was for an afternoon event where I wanted to look businesslike but also glamorous. I opted for these leather look trousers from River Island, Zara pointed booties (my current daily footwear of choice), this Boohoo criss cross lattice top, Celine bag (my husband chose the most perfect colour back in 2012 for me – so much so that I still wear it almost daily nearly four years later!), and my current favourite coat, this terracotta number from Zara. I took things to slightly 1970’s territory by opting for John Lennon (the Yoko years) sunglasses by Forever 21 and this skinny scarf from ASOS that makes everything feel super groovy. Yes I just said groovy. Happy Thursday!
