When going on a city break packing can feel a bit overwhelming. Will your shoes be comfortable enough to last all day site seeing as well as being stylish enough? Will BBC weather be right or wrong – how many layers to take, how many jackets/coats/evening options and so on and so forth.
For me the staples of my current trip to Rome have been my pair of Adidas Originals Superstars, a great pair of black boots, long lean knits, delicate pieces of jewellery and amazing light weight outer layers. I’ve taken a few options – this Zara coat of my mum’s that is as light weight as a cardigan with all the warmth of a Winter coat and this little faux fur jacket that I picked up in Forever 21. Lighter outer layers are ideal for days filled with walking. A good and light umbrella is also an absolute necessity!

I spent a uni semester as an exchange student in Rome last year. These pictures kind of make me miss it! I’m also a huge fan of stylish sneakers to get me though those days of walking around exploring 🙂
