For lunch at the famous Club 55 and then a few drinks on my friends boat I decided to wear my brand spanking new Melissa Odabash Miami bikini under a Topshop crochet maxi dress (available here). The fit of the bikini was unbelievable and unlike any other I’ve ever worn, it made me feel slimmer and more voluptuous at the same time, whilst also looking damn pretty – I love the blue and white detailing.
The outfit served me well as I then continued to wear it out for dinner and didn’t get home until 12am! Wearing a bikini at midnight is slightly odd, not to mention, things were feeling a little sticky and in desperate need of a shower. Nevertheless, whilst eating out on the cobbled streets of St Tropez, my fiance turned to me and gave me the ultimate sartorial complement “the whole bikini and see through dress thing is working for you, your just like that chick you like, you know the French one, what’s her name? Oh yeah! Jane Birkin!”. Result.
