Today is a rare ode to the long standing products that I use every single day (with exception of the Klorane Dry Shampoo – that’s every other day).
I’ve been using La Roche Posay Serozinc twice daily now since I first bought it back in April 2013 from a French pharmacy, I can’t quite put my finger on what exactly it does, but it leaves my skin feeling calmer and it helps regulates blotchy patches and blemishes. The sulphur zinc formula is incredibly soothing, and one of its purposes is to soothe babies nappy rash, meaning that it’s incredibly gentle and ideal for those with sensitive skin. I always like to stock up and ensure that I have a few spares in the cupboard as annoyingly it isn’t that easily available in the UK yet…
Nuxe Reve De Miel lip balm was a product which at first I wasn’t sure about. It has such a thick consistency that I was worried that it felt a little heavy on my lips. After leaving it by the side of my bed, I’ve found myself reaching for it every single night for the last five months without fail. Even if I get home at 5am, I’ll still reach for a thick layer of this before bed. It’s my nightly ritual and ensures my lips feel stunningly soft and plump the next day.
The Klorane Dry Shampoo is one of the best around, it totally banishes grease to the point of where you almost feel like you’ve had an actual shower. However, unlike freshly washed hair, it gives super amounts of volume and a sexy tousled feeling. It does have some white residue, but that’s easily remedied with the help of a tangle teezer.
