In Summer I gravitate towards peachy pinks and peppy oranges and pink bright toned nudes, whereas in the Winter things go a little cooler and icier. These nudes are perfect for a break from the usual dark berry tones that frequently adorn Winter manicures. Here’s my edit of my favourites:
Liz Earle Grace: This is the perfect nude, it is incredibly natural with a cool toned cream undertone. It elongates fingers and looks incredibly glamorous and chic. It’s also brilliant because it has no nasties – a gorgeous formula that glides on (only two coats used in above photo) and is chip resistant for up to 5 days.
& Other Stories Shoddy Pink: A gorgeous mor opaque version than Liz Earle’s Grace, this has more of a milkshake tone.
L’Oreal Colour Riche Paris Opera Ballerina: An incredibly pale and Christmassy pale nude – it’s all in the name. A cheaper option that feels almost as good as a gel manicure on and lasts incredibly well.
L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Boheme Beige: A darker option for those with darker skin tones. I love this mocha latte colour as an alternative nude option, the same consistency as the one above, it has incredible lasting power and looks incredibly glossy even without my trusty layer of Seche Vite.
Essie Eternal Optimist: A pink toned nude, this is absolutely stunning and incredibly flattering. It has a depth to it that makes it feel a little meatier than the paler options, whilst still feeling like a gorgeous berry alternative. As with all Essie polishes it glides on and stays chip resistant for days. A good choice for a Winter holiday.
