As promised here is part deux to post sun grooming. Yesterday’s post was all about minimising sun damage, whereas today’s is a little more fun- post sun maquillag (ie makeup for non Frenchies). I start things by mixing up two parts Bourjois Bronzing Primer to one part Garnier BB Cream to make a fresh and subtly bronzed base, I then dab a little of my trusty La Mer concealer under my eyes and on my lids to neutralise them. Next up is a little bit of Bourjois Cream Blush 02 on the apples of my cheeks to boost my tan with a peachy glow. For the eyes I keep things low key- a bit of Boutique eyeshadow in All that Glitters is not gold (Boutique is Sainsbury’s new beauty line which is launching nationwide in September!) the pigment is stunning and the shade is a gorgeous bronze- it also contours the eyes without need for any other shadows or brushes- magic or what? I then line the lid with a little Eyeko Black liquid liner in Skinny Mini to define the eyes and add some L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara for drama. Eyebrows are taken care of courtesy of Suqqu and then I dab a little Korres lipstick in the shade Natural Pink, which gives a beautiful nude wash as well as being infused with mango butter so therefore moisturising the pout. And voila- a simple but effective post sun holiday evening look!
Those products look gorgeous on you! I totally agree with your choices of the L’Oreal mascara and the Bourjois cream blusher, which are two of my staples, but as for the whole bronzing area, it’s not really my thing (incredibly pale skin does that for you, haha) but it looks lovely on you, bronzed but not orange or overdone (: and your hair looks gorgeous in those pictures, what’s your secret? (;

The bourjois primer is a universal shade- maybe try mixing some in with your foundation? My mum has Caucasian fair skin and it worked really well on her! As for the hair I just rough dry it and then tong it with ‘diva big hot wand’ tongs- funny name! They heat up quickly and curls last ages without hairspray! Xx
