The Gimmick-y Skincare Step That Works

Optimized-mvhydrating

Hydrating mists – they always seemed like an unnecessary extra step in my skincare regime. Like a little too much faff for every day, and what do they really do anyway? Well, that all changed when I started using the MV Organics Skincare Rose Hydrating Mist on New Years Day on my dry, tired and dull skin and never looked back. I now use it every morning post cleanse and it preps my skin beautifully for my moisturiser and foundation. It perks up my skin, hydrates, plumps and smells divine. I definitely notice a difference in my makeup application if I miss the step. I prefer to use Serozinc at night as it regulates my oiliness and ensures that I don’t get too greasy overnight and minimises breakout opportunity, but the Rose mist in the morning is my number 1.

I’m not a rose scent fan, however this just feels fresh and girly without being too pungent. I’d recommend this for any skin types – acne prone, dry, mature, greasy, if it works for me then chances are it will probably be ok for you too (I have such complicated skin!).

I’m terrible with toners/hydrating mists/etc and never seemed to find they do anything for me! Though that being said I’ve never really given them the chance to do anything long enough for any real effect to become apparent. I think I’ll give this MV one a go in the cooler months (I’m in the Southern Hemisphere) and I’m going to whip out my bottle of Serozinc again – apparently it’s miraculous, so I’m looking forward to seeing what the fuss is about! Have a lovely weekend, Tijan xxx
