The Budget Lip that Beats them all

With just one layer of product on.

 

I haven’t bought anything new from the drugstore in a while. Nothing has enticed me or excited me, so whilst in Boots the other day with my mum and sister and swatching No 7 lip products, I was surprised to feel my heart rate soar as I played with the new No 7 Matte Lip Crayons. The texture was so creamy and nourishing yet the finish was matte. They instantly reminded me of the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipsticks, except for the fact that the packaging is far less luxurious and they’re a budget friendly £9.00!

I swatched the shade Raspberry Wine and instantly knew I had to have it. One coat gives you a dark pinky nude, two coats give you more of a dark pink berry and three coats leaves you with a really gorgeous full on raspberry lip. When paired over Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk lip pencil the shade becomes even more gorgeous and pinky and perfect when accompanied with a smokey eye.

If you’re after a nourishing, matte, ‘stays on all freaking day’ lip with the most amazing shade range then look no further! The only downside is the packaging is more for utility and not all that glam but who really cares?
