The Big Chill Makeup Edit

Ok It’s nearly December, it’s freezing and we still want to look pretty right? My favourite makeup look for this chilly weather is something that disguises my red nose, gives my eyes some definition and depth yet still keeping a wintry bronzed glow.

I love Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua for covering up blemishes and any cold induced redness without totally blocking your natural skin. Next up I dab a little extra Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer (I’m shade SX08) on any blemishes and focus extra attention on the tip of my nose again (the stuff is heavy duty and can even cover tattoos so is ideal for covering redness). For eyes I love something deeper than usual, as I think that in the Winter you can get away with a heavier eye for daytime. For that I love this Sisley eyeshadow in Burgundy, or for a more affordable option Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo shadows are incredible and the shade Metallic Pomegranate is gorgeous. I think a bold brow compliments a deep eye perfectly and my current favourite is this MAC brow pencil. For lips I love a cool toned nude and this Bourjois 04 lipstick is ideal. For a spot of contouring and bronzing I love NARS Laguna or Casino (depending on the depth of colour I want) on the apples and temples of my face. To get the look perfectly I love using this Daniel Sandler Watercolour Brush. To me there’s something uber chic about Winter bronzing. If you’d rather leave the bronze for the warmer months, instead just dab a little of the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Powder all over to keep makeup in place, mattify the t-zone and add a little warmth.

And voila! An easy Winter makeup look.
