Those are my colours, I love warm, caramel, rusty shades the same way most girls like black. There’s just something about the shades that evoke sentiments of my favourite era – the 1970s, so it’s no surprise that as my all time favourite decade is currently incredibly on trend there is no shortage of articles of clothing in my all time favourite hues. On Monday I had a whole day of meetings, appointments and then a lovely dinner with friends in the evening and so I decided to wear an outfit that could take me from a 9am breakfast meeting right through to 9pm dinner. I paired this apricot coloured cut out detailed Zara top (currently in the sale) with a denim Zara skirt and these amazing very Celine-esque cut out booties from Forever 21 in a gorgeous warm tan shade. I accessorised with my Dior So Real sunnies and this beautiful Chanel Boy Bag in Small in Dark Grey!

I love this outfit, even though I’m a monochrome rock chick rather than a 70’s girl. I’ve wanted a Boy bag for ages too, but it’s really hard to find a large classic black. I should make more work of it….if we’re handing around Christmas presents already….;) :p

I’ve never thought about wearing ankle boots in summer, Tijan! I’m always in sandals and ballet flats, but they really make an outfit look so chic. I’m pleased to hear about your beautiful new bag, it’s so satisfying to make a well thought out special purchase. I bought a Smythson travel wallet about 3 years ago, and although it was quite a splurge, I love it so much because I know I’ll have it and treasure it forever.

Love your outfit! Congrats on your Boy, would love to see a more dressed down look with the Boy crossbody + sneakers.
