Superdry is a brand that I’ve had a bit of a guilty soft spot for over the years. I love their hoodies and theirs nothing warmer then their puffer jackets- but it doesn’t exactly scream fashion now does it? All that is about to change- well sorta. With the launch of Timothy Everest for Superdry a range of beautifully tailored jackets are hitting stores right about now and to join them Superdry have expanded into the world of beauty.
The beauty products have a young, fun and slightly Japanese/sporty vibe to them making them a perfect Christmas present for a younger sibling of cousin…but the quality of the products is more akin to a woman in her 20s or even 30s. The products are actually pretty darn good, and the fun packaging can be overlooked and seen as a welcome addition amongst all of the sleek black and gold Chanel lipstick tubes. My personal favourite is the Bento Beauty Box* which will retail for £25 which includes a nail file, two mini nail polishes, a mascara, a super cool marker style eyeliner, a little mirror and (my personal favourite) a super glossy lip gloss titled watermelon lip fix, which leaves lips looking 3 times the size, isn’t overly sticky and makes any lip colour super duper shiny. For £25 that is quite good value for money indeed, and I can see this being a popular stocking filler over the festive season! Other cool little bundles of beauty include the Lip & Tip* kit, where you can match your incredibly durable and pigmented manicure to your lip with a wind up glossy stick. I noticed on instagram the other day that ElleUk had posted an image of some Superdry beauty items with the caption ‘this @superdry set didn’t even make it to the #Ellebeautycupboard (because we stole it). This sums it up for me, moreish makeup that’s excellent quality with a fun girlish vibe- this may appear on a quick glance to be one for the teens but once you dig in you wont want to let them have it! Superdry beauty is launching in October!
