I can’t believe that I haven’t mentioned this before on TSL. Smashbox Front Row makes a sexy daytime appropriate smokey eye easy, the colours are beautiful and suit any skin tone and it comes in the most portable of packaging. I’d hazard a guess and say that I’ve had this eyeshadow trio for around three or four years (I know- ancient in makeup years) but it’s seen me through everything. the lightest colour is perfect for the brow bone, the bronze colour (which as you can see has clearly been my favourite) leaves the most beautiful eyeshadow base and the dark aubergine colour looks amazing on the crease and outer corners. The quality of the shadows is my absolute favourite, buttery soft with a slight sheen. The darkest colour isn’t as pigmented as the other two though- the pale creamy champagne colour has the most ‘wow’ factor, and I’ve had compliments when I just wear it alone as a base with a flick of liquid liner as it really brightens the eyes. I can’t believe I haven’t bought anymore Smashbox eyeshadows, looks like a trip to Boots is imminent on my return to London..
p.s please excuse the poor packaging- like I said it’s the grandmother of eyeshadows in my possession!
