Signorina by Ferragamo

I had never tried a Ferragamo fragrance before being whisked off to Florence with them last week, but after being introduced to the Signorina range in a truly magnificent “botanical garden of wonders” I know that they’ll be right up there at the top of my fragrances to recommend alongside Serge Lutens, Jo Malone London and Tom Ford. These are playful luxury at its best – less recognisable than your standard duty free scents yet just as young and care free but with the lasting power of a truly expensive and luxurious fragrance. With hints of sweet jasmine and panna cotta, pink pepper and spicy florals these are gorgeous. My favourite is the staple of the line, the classic – Eleganza – the spiciest and most “grown up” out of the three with golden osmanthus and almond powder notes, I love spritzing it on day and night for a fruity floral musky spiciness that smells so unique.

The other two I have passed on to my mother and sister (despite wanting to keep them all for myself) I knew that they would love them just as much as I have. The purple one has been appropriated by my mother with hints of grapefruit and rice steam, and the pink one with its pink pepper and sweetness has been passed to my 18 year old sister Lily.

If you’re on the hunt for a Summer fragrance or looking for a gift then I could not recommend these enough, the wear time is around the 7 hour mark, with the scent fading into something warmer and softer after around 3 hours.
