Premium Hair

I’m all for drugstore hair care products, in fact I’ve amassed quite the collection of heat protectant sprays, volumizing mousses and so on, all from drugstore brands. However, recently two premium brands have really caught my attention where it comes to awesome hair products.

The first is the Kerastase VIP Volume in Powder hair spray, this fixes hair as well as amplifying it. This gives a backcombed effect that looks positively early 90’s supermodel esque. When I had super long hair, this stopped it from being too flat or weighed down, I loved that with a few spritzes it looked as though I’d had an expensive blow dry with lots of volumizing hold. The second product is one that I originally bought before I’d even started blogging. The Oribe Dry Texturising Spray is a cult product amongst beauty junkies, and this works wonders on my shorter locks. It imparts volume and a piece-y textured feel without looking too “done”. My one gripe? The scent. Whilst most people love the scent or Oribe products, I for one am not a fan so therefore am not too liberal with the amount I use, however, as it’s such a darned good product I put up with it!
